Truck, motorhome and heavy vehicle recovery

Vans, trucks, motorhomes, agricultural machinery: the network’s heavy lifting equipment, available across the Pays de Lunel.

The service

Trucks & large vehicles in Lunel and the Pays de Lunel.

The Pays de Lunel runs on logistics and agriculture: distribution platforms in the Fournels industrial estate, lorries on the RN113, tractors and trailers on the vineyards and market gardens between Marsillargues, Lansargues and Saint-Just. When one of these stops, it blocks a road, a farmyard or a loading bay — and none of them can be moved with a car transporter.

For these jobs Lunel Dépannage calls on the heavy equipment of the Montpellier Dépannage network, which the company joined when it was taken over: 4×4 recovery trucks, lifting arms, heavy-goods flatbeds. One number to call, the right machine sent out — including for an overturned vehicle or one bogged down on a farm track.

How it works

Step by step.

  1. 01 The technical picture Type of vehicle, load on board, exact position, nature of the problem: these determine which lifting equipment we send.
  2. 02 Dispatch We send the right machine from the nearest site in the network, with the signage needed if a lane has to be closed.
  3. 03 Making safe and lifting The area is signed and secured, then the vehicle is righted or winched — out of a ditch, out of soft ground, back onto its wheels — before being coupled or loaded.
  4. 04 The transfer The vehicle is taken to the repair centre or the agreed destination, and you are kept informed at each stage.

Common questions

Your questions about this service.

  • Do you recover motorhomes?

Yes. A motorhome is beyond the size of a standard car transporter: we send a flatbed matched to its length and weight, which is why we need the exact model when you call.

  • My vehicle is stuck on a farm track or in a field. Can you reach it?

Yes, with the network’s 4×4 recovery trucks. Describe the ground when you call: that is what tells us whether a standard flatbed will do or whether we need off-road winching gear.

  • Can you right a vehicle that has rolled over?

Yes. The network’s lifting arms allow the vehicle to be righted and then removed, working with the police when the safety of the road requires it.
